In 24 Hours…

This room can't contain us!

In 24 hours, you’ll be a part of the biggest game development event in the history of St. Louis, and perhaps the world.

So how big are we talking?

In August of last year we had approximately 7 or 8 people come together for the St. Louis Game Jam. This year we’re looking at anywhere from 30 – 50. That amount of growth is insane, and honestly, we weren’t totally prepared for it. What this means is that the kick-ass 18-seater computer lab we reserved won’t contain us and the teams will be spread out a bit. As you can see in the post below this one, Friday evening we’ll begin in the Webster University Emerson Library conference room. This is a change from what we had planned, so please make note of it. Then, as the evening goes on and people begin actual development, some of us will go back to Sverdrup room 202, while the rest will be filtered to the library or some other not-entirely impromptu location. It’s not ideal, but it’ll definitely work. Think of Sverdrup room 202 as our home base and the rest of Webster University’s campus as our playground.

Please don’t let this discourage you from coming. This is the absolute best problem to have, as it validates that we’re really doing something great.
