Game Recap: Eyeshot
Surprise! An entire game was created secretly at Game Jam this year.
Simutronics employee Brett Sweeney and I have been sleeping on opposite schedules, and he’s stealthily completed an entire game called EyeShot.
This stealth game was written and programmed by Brett. Brett was originally supposed to part of Three Blind Slimes, but when he showed up at Game Jam for the first time at 1am, none of the teammates were here. Instead of trying to join Three Blind Slimes, Brett decided to just make his own.
Steve, a member of Three Blind Slimes’ development team, found time to do the art, and helped with level creation.
Described as ‘Small-scale Portal with cameras instead of holes,’ EyeShot’s camera must be moved by the player in order to complete levels. Most levels require different ‘perspectives’ -see what he did there?- in order to create the mental map needed to complete the level.
Team members:
Brett Sweeney, team leader
Steve Harrold
