Good News!
Free food!
I can now confirm that Saturday and Sunday night’s dinners will be provided by Webster University’s own SIGGRAPH and Video Game Club Student Groups!
Big thanks to Amanda Walker and Alyssa Hutton for making this happen. Without you, well, we’d be hungry!
Very shortly I’ll be announcing some “Achievements” that you can choose to incorporate into your game if you’d like. These Achievements are restrictions you can choose to place on your games for added challenge and a bit more exposure. In the past these have consisted of things like: make a game that runs in a web browser, use only 16 different colors, and make a game that can be completed in its entirety in under 5 minutes. Some might happen naturally and others you may have to prepare for in advance. By doing these your games will be placed in special categories on the Global Game Jam site, making them highly searchable and far more likely to be seen. What I’m saying is get ready to come prepared!
If you’re ready to commit to 24 hours of awesome, please register for the Jam by clicking this big red(ish)button:
